Artist's Comments

Some old chinese-ink painting I did of a Battletech Marauder. A lot of the perspective and so forth is lousy, but I always liked it at the time. Found a digital version of it on some webpage of mine.

And no, this isn't a Glaug Officer's Pod. I love Macross, it's my favourite anime series but I didn't draw this as a Zentraedi Pod so I'm not going to call it one. If it were a Glaug pod, that big hole in the access hatch probably would've killed the dude inside. As a Battlemech however, the cockpit is proportionally smaller and so it fights on.
