KoalaBrownie seriously does not understand people on dA who scan in artwork, make some minor MS Paint-style modification and then post it in their gallery. And then every clueless dA browser thinks they've either made a great drawing, or that they've stolen a drawing. Specifically, one might mention people who post artwork or various Battlemechs from different Battletech products. In some cases, all the person is doing is scanning the artwork and then listing their ingame stats in the description. Well really people, no one on dA gives a SHIT about your original robot's stats/fluff in some dumb game. If you want to talk about the stats, post on one of the forums devoted to some game. People are only looking at the artwork and in general will automatically assume that you've done the artwork, because that's what dA is about, people posting their OWN artwork. Not posting some picture of some japanese mecha where they've used MS Paint to make the gun barrels 3 pixels longer.

A person searches for good original art and instead they're flooded with a bunch of crap they've already seen because they own the books they were printed it. Should KoalaBrownie take a digital picture of the Mona Lisa, draw on a moustache in MS Paint and post it in my dA gallery as some new artwork? Seriously what the hell.

KoalaBrownie also noticed dA recently implemented google ads. Wow, that's uh . . .really pretty low brow I would've thought for dA but whatever.
